Official Comment Period: November 1 - 30, 2022
A live virtual public information meeting Question and Answer session was held for the I-95 Eastern CT Planning & Environmental Linkages (PEL) Study on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 using Zoom. Two times were available: 12 p.m. and 6 p.m. Each session included a presentation immediately followed by an opportunity for attendees to ask questions. View the presentation in English and Spanish. The purpose of this public information meeting was to:
Provide an overview of the concerns in the corridor related to the growing traffic and increased drive times.
Explain the Planning and Environmental Linkages Study process and next steps in this study.
Ask for the public’s feedback on the Draft Purpose and Need of future projects within the corridor.

Understanding the social, cultural, and natural environments within the study area helps our study team better identify and evaluate proposed improvements to your transportation concerns. In addition to the considerations and constraints listed below, the study area includes people whose incomes are below the federal poverty threshold and people of color.
